Jon Bellona, of Run for the Fallen, is leading a relay run across America, dedicating each mile to one of the over 4,000 fallen soldiers from the Iraq war. Bellona was inspired by the death of his college friend, Mike Cleary, who was killed December 20, 2005. Mike Cleary was only 24.
